A Proud History of Local Ownership

CiCis Pizza was established in 1985 near Dallas, Texas and rapidly began franchising to smaller markets and now operates in 38 states and over 200 cities.

The location in Lake Charles, Louisiana was franchised in 1998 by

Lonny Chesnut of Lafayette and set a company sales record of nearly $48,000 at $2.99 - today's equivalent of near $141,000. The franchise grew to a total of four locations spanning Lafayette, New Iberia, Alexandria and Lake Charles.

Cicis Pizza Lake Charles was later purchased in 2017 by James English & Family of Sulphur, LA and is now the only remaining location of the original four.​

In 2020, a sizeable investment was made to restore the Lake Charles location to its former glory and has grown its operations to include a 2,000 square foot

state-of-the-art Family Entertainment Center that reigned as #1 in the entire CiCis Pizza System from 2020 to 2024.

Building on our success, many franchised locations followed in our footprints and have exceeded the records we once held. We are delighted to be their inspiration.
